By adding a rigid sound absorbing panel that is custom built and fixed on the face of the panel on site, this partition greatly improves your space’s acoustical performance by improving sound reverberation control while ensuring an optimal integration with your room’s design.
In addition, as with all of Corflex’s operable partitions, you are assured the best sound transmission control of all Canadian manufacturers with a laboratory tested sound transmission class (STC) of 54.
Top and Bottom Retractable Seals
By opting for top and bottom retractable seals, you will improve aesthetic and sound proofing, reduce maintenance, increase stability and allow for easier panel movement.
A half-turn of the removable handle sets top and bottom acoustic seals instantly creating 50 kg (110lb) or more of horizontal acoustic seal pressure per panel.
Blocking
Final partition closure using an expanding jamb closure is recommended for optimum sound control. Solid blocking is required at both ends to withstand 115 kg (250 lb) of lateral force.
